Awwww... Well..... Yeah, I'm bored... ;-)

So I'm spending my time thinking about this new little project.

Top 10 why Cosmology @ Home is great.

#10 Enough ATA's here.
#9 We've got something happening here every day, every night, you just have to watch the forums.
#8 It's ALPHA Stage!!! Gotta love that.
#7 UIUC!!!! YEEEAAAAHHH!!!!
#6 We've got an admin that does respond quick to messages.
#5 Linux and Windows apps available while in alpha stage.
#4 More people will think of good reasons why Cosmo@home is great.
#3 Our alpha credits are already being exported.
#2 Scott fixes problems really fast.
#1 No one really complained about the Admin (Scott) not fixing a problem for more than 24 hours. We all just waited for him to fix it.

What I'm trying to say:

Scott, the project is great, you're doing a hell of a good job!

Anyone else agree with me?

Sort of like "We Love the President Day" from Sid Meier's Civilization, right? =)

Thanks guys! I'll try to keep it up!

Sorry for putting this up in the wrong forum... I just couldn't think of a reason why this is a "beginners" topic! ;-)

No problem. Maybe I'll rename this forum to something more appropriate.

Congrats to Scott for being our Admin of the Day! ;-)

And don't you worry Sysfried, ATAs aren't really BOINC beginners as well... so we might just declare this corner here the "hidden" café, eh? *biiig grin*
Lovely greetings, Cori

Changed the forum title and description to something more fitting.

I don't really mind there being off-topic discussion in this forum, as long as it's not classic flame-war material (religion, politics, etc). Rest assured, I will delete any and all threads pertaining to those subjects.

yes yes you have the right idea :) And if you keep it up the citizenship will keep on having "We Love the President Day".

However the difficulty level will be raised soon as your empire grows so it will become more difficult to get those days....(Currently playing Galactic Civ2)

Great job Scott- no work because project is down we just run other projects til you come back up thats why we do Boinc.

I thought I didn't remember seeing this thread listed before hehe. I also add my applause thus far on a job well done by Scott here for Cosmo, With BOINC crunchers that respect each others opinions and or ideas (even if they may not agree with all of them) Like the ones we have had here so far, Coupled with the fact of having an Admin such as Scott that listens, Answers, And communicates his thoughts and ideas and or future plans on how the project is going, This makes the project one heck of a nice place to participate in, And hopefully will stay as such on into Beta and Beyond !
