Yes, this is normal.
The Work Units for our new app (CAMB 2.16) will take a long time to complete.

Still with 140 credit?

On the main page under news( April 18 ) it says that the credit for camb 2.16 was increased from 140 to 200. I am still getting 140 per WU. Is the credit going to be upped or are the WU's completion time going to be decreased??

If you're getting 140 credit, you're still returning and being credit for Camb 2.15 work. The credit increase only starts with Camb 2.16

I also got 140 for a 2.16 wu. As is explained here this is indeed possible for some of the first issued 2.16 wu's

Hi,

Another example of strange project management !

Long WU camb 2.16 were released before extending the time limit upto 15 days thus resulting into task time overrun eg mine Tid 13195005 Wid 6339750 ...

With all the recent projects outage (Cosmo, Einstein, Seti, MW out of work) it seems sensible to run multiple project in parallel so we can deal with lack of work. However, increasing workload without notice and without increasing time for computation leads to useless crunching !!!

A suggestion: You could allocate longer time for computation, the same way SETI is doing.

Regards
