Here's a different prob - i'm running two machines but only one is showing as having an individual host credit in BoincView (v1.5 b8). i know this program is no longer supported or mantained but Cosmology is the only BOINC project in BoincView where i have this anomoly (i'm connected to and running correctly 3 projects witha further 5 set to no new work and not running). Av User Credit is showing correctly for both hosts in all my projects but only one host is showing a zero Host Credit and this only occurs in Cosmo? Has anyone else seen this? How did you resolve it or is it just unique to Cosmology@Home and therefore i should just go away and live with it??!! |

Several ways to check: Try connecting BOINC Manager to the host or start BOINC Manager on the host. See what it shows for the hosts credits for this project. How is it showing on your account-page here and on stats-sites? Credits showing for it? Also you can check the tasks returned for that host. Perhaps the hosts credits are all pending or all tasks errored out or considered invalid. Your computers are hidden so we can't check it for you. I use BoincView 1.4.2 and the hosts connected to Cosmology@home both shows individual hosts credits correctly for this project. |

Thanks for your reply, Shem All credits for this computer are showing correctly at all the places you suggest - it's just not showing in BV - in fact, it shows zero. Av User cr show correctly just not Av Host cr. And Cosmo is the only project this prob occurs in. Restarting BV, re-installing BV, changing to a previous version of BV and whether it is Linux or Windows, no matter - this computer does not show in BV. Quite perplexing. |
