I can't upload and receive this error message:

Windows-7-PC 3882 Cosmology@Home Feb/3/2012 16:58:07 [error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space

Same problem here.

I also have three machines with a backlog of uploads that cannot write to the server due to it being full since yesterday

I have a dozen and a half ready to upload but nothing's going. Does HQ know about this or have they lost interest?

I was wondering the same thing yesterday - ie, curious as to if anyone would be around over Superbowl weekend interested in system maintenance....??? I guess we'll soon see. Most of these projects don't take the system status / news updates all that seriously from what I've seen (as a general rule).
There is more to life I guess than crunching and munching giga-flops. 8^)

was coming here to report same. i guess its also a weekend so wont really be fixed till say half an hour after 9am on whatever timezone the server is on (could look but its irrelevant really, knowing that wont change it).

my guess is this will clear up in 24hrs at the latest.

I been trying to upload some tasks on both my machines, with no joy. Sometimes get this problem with Seti as well.

I do not think so. The only way would be, that the staff grants us creds manually (like some years before in this project).
However, holding your WUs and send them back regulary (as soon as it is possible again) is still recommened, because aborted WUs tend to cause the "download error".

Professor Wandelt will be able to answer this question once he is back. He is the project's director, and the only one with authority to decide on this issues. And like Dennis has mentioned, credit was granted before manually under certain extenuating circumstances. So let's see what will happen here.

How interesting... was able to download and start a new WU, but not to upload. Presumably these are on different areas (for want of a better word) of the server(s)?

Check our beloved error messages:
/home/boincadm/projects/cosmohome/upload/12c/wu_020212_184940_3_1_0_0: No space left on server

They have a directory "upload". Afaik, they use just one machine, maybe different HDs. And it is something different to read from a disk, even a full disk, than to write on it ;-)

I to cannot upload my results due to server having no disk space. This has been going on for three days now to the best of my knowledge. Log details below:

I have 20 units ready to upload, also getting server out of space error, are they planning on fixing this ?

They do, but unfortunately the sysadmin is on travel. A real nice worst case.

This is getting really serious now. I have about 60-70 WU's complete and some past their deadline now. More than a week of downtime. Switching to Einstein@home for the time being.

Agree with "steves;" this is ridiculous. Project is supposed to be from a department of a major university but this performance is totally amateur hour.

I've set my options at "no new tasks" and decreased resource share to less than 1%.

I just want to add my name to the list of "dissatisfied customers"! Please free up space so we can download results while they still are relevant.
